Collection
Determine if you prefer the ‘invisible’ look of the Classic or the unique design of Contur, which has a lightweight foil surrounding the lens. For hyper-unique shapes, you may be restricted to Classic.

Lens Shape
Each collection has its own set of lens shape options. We have 64 Classic shapes and over 70 Contur! Browse the catalogs; some clients bring in an old pair of glasses if they know that shape is flattering, and we do best-match.

Colors
Select from 20+ colors, most of which come in either matte or glossy finish. Mix and match; Contur frames have additional foil color options to surround the lenses. Classic frames can have a hand-painted color groove!

Fitting
Your optician will have you try on all 7 nosepad sizes to find your best fit. Extended measurements will be taken, and we will select the correct sized bridge, temple tips, and more.
At dispense, your optician will trim the temples to perfectly fit your frame!

About Swissflex Frames
Swissflex are sold worldwide; repairs, adjustments and lens replacements should only be performed by an optical or optometry office that carries this product.
Prescription eyewear is made custom for you; once your Swissflex frame is assembled we are not able to swap around colors, shapes, etc.
Currently there is no distribution in Canada. Swissflex is not sold online.
For past owners of italee 2.5 eyephorics
Distribution of Swissflex changed hands in 2018 to EyeOn; previously the distributor Italee Optical created a blend of products to include some Swissflex models as well as their own model ‘2.5.’
‘2.5’ frames without the brand ‘eyephorics’ indicated on it are not Swissflex. These are replicas of eyephorics which are/were manufactured by Italee Optics. The models eyephorics, motion, classic, rainbow, and loop belong to Swissflex.
Can you repair or service my 2.5 Eyephorics?
If the frame was manufactured by Italee Optics, the answer is no; these frames tend to be glued together and dismantling them often leads to breakage. As far as we are aware, no new frames or parts are being sold.
What are the care instructions?
While Swissflex frames are light and flexible, they are not meant to be abused or crushed. Avoid using lens sprays that contain alcohol, as well as any strong solvents or aerosols. The preferred methods of cleaning are either a clean microfiber cloth and alcohol-free spray (provided by Artisan Eyewear) or warm water and a little Dawn detergent. We also like to employ an extra-soft toothbrush for getting the nooks and crannies!
